John Doyle 18 Fret Guitar / Bouzouki

18-frets to the body, 8-String Guitar/Bouzouki. This singular instrument built for Irish guitar superstar, John Doyle, attempts to provide the maximum number of useable frets before the body. To that end, the instrument was designed with a bolt on neck to eliminate the heel as well as a foreshortened body. It is made with East Indian rosewood back and sides, a cedar double-top, and bloodwood binding.
